Samantha is Red Girl from the Cara x Marcus, Eagles, litter. She was my pick puppy from day 1! It's amazing how you just know things when you look at your litter. Samantha has exceptional shoulder layback, she has a lovely front assembly and sound, driving rear. She has a scissor puppy bite, and she has short, dense coat. The reasons that she was "the One" for me in this litter include: she has a longer muzzle, small almond-shaped, DARK eye and long tail. Not to mention all the other great characteristics that I mentioned earlier. She is confident and wonderful with everyone. At 9 months of age, Samantha is 23.5" tall and has exceptional bone and structure. Her temperment and movement are exactly what I hoped for from this litter! Very excited about watching her grow!

Samantha went to her first show cluster March 13-16, 2014 in Louisville, KY. It is always a big cluster and there are usually majors. The first day - Sam took her class - she was the only one! and she showed really well. She certainly didn't look or act like a 9 month old puppy. :) That first day, was not her day. The second day of the cluster, Samantha took Reserve Winners Bitch, right behind her "big sister" Tinker! What a great day for both girls! Then on Saturday of the cluster - which was a BSCA Regional Specialty - Samantha took WINNERS BITCH for 4 pts!!! WOOHHOO!! I was so excited! She won under Breeder Judge Barbara Trezza and she was just a JOY!!! Samantha couldn't possibly top that win her first weekend out, or so I thought!!! But, on Sunday, under Judge William Usherwood, Samantha went WINNERS BITCH again for another 4pts and THEN was pulled out for BEST OF OPPOSITE SEX too- giving her a 5 POINT MAJOR!!!! Samantha handled it with ease and was a very good girl all weekend!!! What a thrill for my most recent home bred girl to pick up two AWESOME MAJORS her first weekend out! And, she passed her OFA Eye exam with flying colors!

Samantha is doing great this Spring!!! Sammy went Winner Bitch both days in Columbus Ohio in April as well as Winners Bitch and Best of Breed at Ft St Clair shows in Eaton Ohio the end of April. Samantha only needs 2 pts to finish her championship!!!

Samantha took Winners bitch for 1 pt on day at the Cincinnati KC shows in May 2014 under Mr. Dana Cline and then finished up her championship on June 7th going Winners Bitch under judge Mr. Tom Hale at the McKinley KC shows!!! Samantha will turn 1 yr old on June 11th!! She finished right before her 1st birthday! YEAH!!! SAMMY!!!!!

Samantha went out to the Louisville shows in March 2015 with me. She hasn't been out since June 2014 - and she's not even 2 yrs old yet - so I really had no expectation that she would win... just wanted to take her out to show off. :) Well, to my surprise, my little 20 month old girl stepped up and took BEST OF OPP SEX on the first day of the Louisville Cluster!!! WOOO HOOO!!! She also took Best Owner Handler that day - both of those under Mr. Roger Hartinger. Then, she went on to take an OH Group 4 under Breeder Judge Linda Robey!!! WHAT A GREAT DAY!!! Samantha also took an Award of Merit at the BSCA Supported Entry show on Saturday of that weekend. She is solid as a rock in structure and temperment! Very proud of my baby girl!!!

Samantha went out for one other weekend over Labor Day in 2015. She was amazing!! She earned two Herding Group Placements, OH Group Placements and an OWNER HANDLER BEST IN SHOW!!!!! What a wonderful win from Judge Mrs. Betty Ann Hale!!! I could not have been prouder! Samanatha has really taken a back seat to her brothers in 2015 for dog shows - so she's half way to her GCH at this point. Samantha did complete all of her health testing this summer. So,we are now planning who she will be bred too in a couple years. :)

Samantha is doing great in 2016 and we plan to breed her to Jackson on her next season. She is a sound girl in body and mind, very easy to live with and we look forward to seeing what Samantha will produce with Jackson.

Samantha was bred to Jackson via frozen semen in March 2016 and welped 6 babies on May 8, 2016!! This is the Sarron Sammi Jackson litter. We started with 3 boys and 3 girls and ended with 2 boys and 2 girls. We lost one boy and one girl to cleft pallets. :( The remaining babies are healthy , growing and doing great! Check out their page in our Litter section. This was the Sammi x Jackson litter - so all the babies have Samual L Jackson movie titles as their registered names.

Samantha was bred to Tax for her final breeding in 2018. Watch updates on the Duran Duran litter page. Many thanks to the Goddards and Tax for making this litter possible. We are very excited about these babies.

After her final litter, Samantha relocated to her retirement home in Florida with new mom, Nancy Altenburg. Sam is settling nicely with Nancy and we're excited that she is getting a ton of attention and love. We are happy to welcome Nancy to the Sarron Family and look forward to regular updates from Sam and Nancy.

Samantha loves her new parents, Nancy and Hunter! Samantha was spayed in Nov 2018 and is doing well adjusting to Florida life. Nancy just adores her.

Samantha and Nancy check in with us regularly to let us know that Samantha is doing great!! It's March 2020 and Samantha is keeping Nancy and Hunter active and on their toes everyday. They take great care of her and love her dearly.

Samantha celebrated her 9th birthday on June 11, 22. She is doing well - loves her walks and meals with her owners, Nancy and Hunter. Good girl Samantha - hoping for many more years with this team.

On April 28, 23 - Samantha was diagnosed with a Grade 2 Soft Tissue Sarcoma (STS) - further tests show that is has not spread so she will go through surgery to have it removed - with the hopes that will cure it. Our prayers are with Samantha, Nancy and Hunter on this journey. She is a very good girl. Samanatha had the rumor removed in May 2023 and recovered well!! We are SO HAPPY FOR NANCY, HUNTER and SAMANTHA!!! They are looking forward to many more good years together.
